Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the school's safety work together with the student health team. The work involves planning and implementing break activities and other group-strengthening initiatives, organizing safety walks, and leading group exercises. You will also conduct surveys and interviews to map students' experiences and contribute to a safer school environment.

Furthermore, the role includes mentoring students in the vocational introduction program for the construction and civil engineering program. You will support, coach, and motivate this student group in both vocational courses and basic school courses and common subjects, focusing on practical, theoretical, and social learning.

The assignment also includes being a support for students and guardians in social issues and working preventively and promoting with the goal of increasing students' school attendance and creating conditions for long-term school success.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education. You have a background and experience from working in the construction industry and good skills in handling computers and other technical aids. If you have experience working in school activities, safety work within high school, or teaching students in the construction and civil engineering program, we see this as an advantage. It is beneficial for the position if you have experience working with students in need of special support.

Other Information

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police's criminal record.

Temporary position lasting until 2027-12-03.

Ongoing selection will take place during the application period.

During the interview, you will need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must present a valid work permit or be exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
